Moaners, Moaners 7" (<1990)
If you attended the great University of Delaware during the mid-to-late 1980s, you may remember Jerry "Pumpkinhead" Lehane, a local musician and purveyor of self-recorded-and-transferred cassettes. Most of the tapes featured local bands, and I recall him working the soundboard at local shows and gigs, so they weren't bootlegs, exactly. But many of the recordings featured (the) Moaners. Moaners are, or perhaps is, Lehane's band, which seems to be often his own solo performance project. Note that the band name is an anagram of Ramones.
This cassette features five tracks, ranging in style. I know the Dylan song isn't his own, but the rest seem to be of Lehane's own composition. There's no track listing anywhere, so only two tunes are identified: "It Ain't Me, Babe," and "Fireman," which he conveniently titles at the song's beginning.

Track2 Strange World/ Claude(Batz Without Flesh)Willey WXDR dj Keys,Drum machine,programmer + Jerry vocal done in his parents basement studio.He works in Cali water quality industry teaching at college since late 90's(?) Track3 Kenny Mullins a Nashville musician I used to chauffeur to gigs.He left De 1990.True Friend.Glad he went to Nash cause he was slowly dying here. Track4 Roberta is a hairdresser and one of my fave photo subjects,perfect face.She sees live bands still.It's a crush song like a hundred other crushes.She actually liked it,asked for a copy years later,lost her old one.You know it's lovesickness because it's TOO LONG.And they called it Puppy Love...well I guess they'll never know.Yeah That douchey LOL. Track 5 inspired by my Uncle Jack driving my schoolbus,saw a burning car in an accident,saved the guy's life,dragged him out as he was in shock,locked up,dazed.It was some guy who went to my gradeschool.Crash was at General Motors.Guy stopped me later and said thank my uncle for saving his life.
