This Month's Thrift Store Vinyl Sharity

The Singers Unlimited, A Capella 2 (1975)

Most people, like Oscar Peterson, know The Singers Unlimited because of their very popular Christmas Album.

As the title suggests, this album is the second release from Gene Puerling's studio vocal group.

While the album isn't available on its own , tracks--most notably "Clair"--do appear on their Masterpieces compliation.

And there's a box set of all their work during the 1970s, if you like this less-than-perfect vinyl LP rip.

The album and troubled scans of the cover art appear in this rapidshare.com file.

Yes, I am a bit tardy this month.

I notice that so far there have been very few downloads of this post.

Let me say to all of you out there that this is a wonderful selection by an exquisite group of singers; I cannot recommend it too highly, and I urge you not to miss out on something really special.

To Snowbag, a big thank you for the share. Never mind the tardiness, this one was worth waiting for.

Yummy!

Let us not forget that their Christmas album can still be found on CD.
